Very warm welcome and great equipped rooms. Food and breakfast are great and there is really nothing to complain about. The employees are all very nice and accommodating. Whoever is there has to use the private spa, I can only recommend it! All in all a very nice stay 😊 5/5

The landlord does not tolerate criticism, we can happily do without such a host, even if you disguise everything here in the review and want to portray the guest as a liar, this in turn shows your character You don’t know any excuse! Remember you live from the customer and not the customer from you, but you will probably learn that! Something like that lying naughty has not happened to me in the restaurant in 50 years, just plain ugly !!

Rude, disrespectful and opinionated is a kind of mistake not to admit! I was a guest and was not treated as a guest! When I say the sky is green as a guest, a good restaurateur says: oh yes what a beautiful green you have a good eye! But instead I was treated rudely when I complained about the saltless fries! It started that the cook (boss) came out of the kitchen with the waiter and said what's going on! The sound makes the music and your music is not music but trumpet! But I won't waste any more thought on you because I think that's a waste of time! During this time I prefer to go to your former employer for dinner! There the guest comes first and is treated as a king and not as a beggar 😂😂😂😂 Corona will fix it! All the best

We went to the strategy meeting in Haus Hochstein. After everyone has arrived, a long walk around the village. Then in the evening a great, delicious meal. Nice "nightcap". Breakfast the next morning from the buffet as well as personally put together. The rooms were great, the service was very good. Price-performance ratio absolutely okay. We felt very comfortable and will be holding our next strategy meeting there again. I wish the Hochstein family continued success on their traditional but at the same time innovative path! The renovated rooms are great !!

A very charming hotel in a pretty village in the beautiful surroundings of the Sauerland. Behind the house flows the renatured Wenne, lined with wildflower meadows and forest. The perfect environment to experience a break in the best possible sense. Life in the hotel does its part. The loving and well thought-out design of the rooms shows the commitment of the Hochstein family in every detail, which actually puts the well-being of the guests in the foreground. "You look good today, it's nice that you are here ..." you can read handwritten on a slate when you enter the cozy, beautifully designed courtyard. Whether at breakfast (excellent), with a delicious piece of cake or with freshly and well-prepared food in the restaurant, you always feel that you are in good hands. At the same time, a high level of professionalism can be felt everywhere. The Hochsteins can hotel! It was particularly nice that, with all the attention to the guests' wishes, discretion and unobtrusiveness always ensured wonderful peace and quiet. The sunny, very cozy room with the beautiful balcony overlooking the forest and meadows became a real home for a few days. Many thanks to the Hochstein family and the other good spirits in the house!

Clean and freindly service.

We could not go to England due to quarantine, so we went to Haus Hochstein for 6 days. We had a delicious meal, a nice drink and a lovely walk. We now drive home wonderfully rested and look forward to returning next month.

Nice hotel with nice rooms and nice ambience. The breakfast is extensive, price performance is correct. I deduct a star for the somewhat creepy stuffed animals and the dolls as decoration ... Belongs to the overall concept, but is a bit a matter of taste.

Just relaxation for the soul. We have already been to private savings several times. You enter the area with an access card. You can expect a large sunbathing area, an infrared chamber for your back, a sauna, a basin for a foot bath and a great shower. The toilet is in the private area. In addition, there is a tea machine with several teas, water and various vegetable sticks with dips available. You don't have to worry about towels, bathrobes and shoes, everything is available. The great ambience with great attention to detail gave us a couple of great and relaxed hours. After the sauna we also went to eat in the restaurant. If you want good and quality food, this is the place for you. Everything is freshly prepared. The service was super friendly, attentive but not intrusive. Will come again.

We were from Ev. Circle for coffee here. Our first chairman invited us. We enjoyed coffee and cake in a lovely atmosphere. Delicious. The service was very friendly and courteous. A very nice house, with a very nice welcome. You feel good here and love to come back.

We took a little break in Haus Hochstein for Valentine's Day, which is also our wedding day. In the afternoon we booked the private spa for ourselves with a sauna, infrared cabin, graduation tower, large lounger area and two adventure showers with color changing. The reception was very friendly and we got a detailed explanation of the spa area. We relaxed wonderfully for 2 hours with several saunas, infrared courses and breaks. Small tasty snacks and drinks were included. In the evening we had a great 5-course dinner in the restaurant of the house. Everything was very, very tasty. Highly Recommended. We will definitely repeat it again when the opportunity arises.
